We are independent

RouteSwitchU is an independent training publisher. We are not affiliated with Cisco Systems, Inc. We are not a Cisco Learning Partner or a Cisco Authorized Learning Partner. Nothing we sell is produced, reviewed, sponsored, or endorsed by Cisco. We cannot issue a Cisco certification and we do not administer a Cisco exam.

The same goes for every other company named on this site. We are independent of all of them.

Why these names appear

Our courses teach how to work with real equipment and real software, so the courses have to say which equipment and which software. When a lesson says CCNA, Catalyst 9800, Cisco IOS XE, or Meraki, it is referring to the real product by its real name so you know what you are learning. That is the only reason those names are here.

We do not use anyone else's logo on this site or in the course material, and we do not use anyone else's name in a way meant to suggest they stand behind our work.

Cisco

Cisco, the Cisco logo, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Cisco DevNet, Catalyst, Catalyst Center, Cisco DNA Center, Cisco IOS, Cisco IOS XE, Meraki, Nexus, Webex, pyATS, and Genie are trademarks or registered trademarks of Cisco Systems, Inc. and/or its affiliates in the United States and certain other countries.

Certification names

CCNA is Cisco's certification, not ours. A course here that names a Cisco exam is independent study material for that exam and nothing more. Buying it does not enroll you with Cisco, does not register you for an exam, does not give you access to any Cisco system, and does not guarantee that you will pass. You register for and sit Cisco exams through Cisco and its testing partner, and the exam fee is separate from anything you pay us.
