These terms are between you and RouteSwitchU, a Colorado sole proprietorship ("RouteSwitchU," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply when you buy lifetime access to the paid RouteSwitchU courses or an optional assessment subscription. By completing a purchase, you agree to them. Please read them before you buy, including the refund policy for your purchase. You must be 18 or older to buy.
RouteSwitchU sells to you, and Stripe processes the payment.
You're buying lifetime access to the paid RouteSwitchU courses with one payment, for your own learning. You get every paid course we sell today, and every one we add later, at no extra cost. You also get the corrections and updates we make to any of them. We don't promise any specific future course, lesson, topic, or release date. The roadmap shows what we intend to build, and it can change. Access is delivered online and starts right after payment.
"Lifetime" means the life of this site, not your lifetime. If RouteSwitchU stops operating, access ends with it. You can export your own account data at any time from your account page.
You pay once. Your lifetime access has no subscription and no renewal, and a later change to our price doesn't affect a purchase you've already made. Assessment subscriptions are optional and purchased separately; their price and renewal terms are below.
The price is $299 in US dollars, paid once, before tax. A promotion code or a saved spot from the waitlist can lower it, as described below. Where sales tax, VAT, or GST applies, checkout adds it on top of the price you're paying and shows it, with the total, before you pay. The total is what you pay. New purchases are charged in US dollars. Your bank or card issuer may add its own fees.
A promotion code lowers the price at checkout. A link can apply a code for you, or you can type one on the checkout page, and checkout shows the lower price and your total before you pay. You can use one code per order, and a code can't be combined with a saved spot. We can end a code at any time. A code applies only to the order you use it on, so it can't be added to an order you've already paid for. These codes apply to course purchases only.
If you saved a spot on the RouteSwitchU waitlist before we opened for purchases, we hold the $249 price for the email address you saved it with until October 8, 2026, at 9:00 AM Mountain Time (15:00 UTC). To use it, buy with your spot's Buy link before then. The link is in the emails we send about your spot, and you can also ask for it on the saved-spot page at routeswitchu.com/saved-spot. To use a different email address, email support@routeswitchu.com before the deadline, and we'll move your spot to it. A saved spot can't be combined with a promotion code. After the deadline, unused saved spots end, and the price is the one in "Price, currency, and taxes." Saving a spot cost nothing and didn't commit you to buy.
New course and assessment purchases are available only in the United States, with a US billing address. Checkout also checks the country you're connecting from. Existing course access is unchanged. If an order from outside the supported area gets through, we'll cancel it and refund it in full.
An assessment subscription adds practice quizzes, mock exams, and flashcards for one certification. You must already own the paid course catalog to subscribe. Each certification subscription costs $149 in US dollars per year, before tax, in addition to your course purchase. Checkout shows any applicable tax and the total before you pay. There is no monthly option, free trial, or promotion code for this subscription.
The subscription renews automatically every year until you cancel. To stop the next renewal, open your account page and choose Manage billing. Stripe's billing portal lets you cancel the renewal, update your payment method, and view invoices. Canceling a renewal does not refund the current term; you keep assessment access through the term you paid for. Canceling the assessment subscription does not cancel your course access.
If a renewal payment fails, assessment access ends when the last paid term ends. Updating your card alone does not restore access; the renewal payment must succeed. You can manage payment recovery from your account page.
Within 14 days of the first payment for a new assessment subscription, you can request a full refund, including any tax, by emailing refunds@routeswitchu.com. A full refund ends that subscription's assessment access and stops future renewals. This 14-day offer applies only to the first invoice, not to renewal payments. Renewal refunds are considered case by case; there is no standard renewal refund or prorated refund for voluntary cancellation. Nothing in this policy limits any refund or other remedy required by law, including for duplicate or unauthorized charges.
Assessment access also requires continuing course-catalog access. If that access is refunded or revoked, or you close your account, we stop future assessment charges and refund the unused part of the current paid assessment term.
If assessment access ends, an already-started timed mock may still be finished before its original deadline. This does not allow new assessment attempts or extend the deadline.
This section covers your course purchase. The separate assessment refund policy is above. You can cancel your course purchase and get a full refund for any reason within 14 days. We won't ask why.
The 14 days start the day after you buy. If you buy on October 13, you can ask until the end of October 27 where you are. If the last day falls on a weekend or a public holiday where you live, you have until the end of the next working day.
To ask for a refund:
We email you to confirm we got your request, with the date and time we received it. We refund the full amount you paid, including any tax, to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your request. Your bank may take a few more days to show it. For orders sold through Link, Link sends the refund and the refund receipt.
Your access to the paid courses ends when the refund goes through. If Stripe or Link refunds your order under its own rules, your access ends the same way.
If a refund request doesn't come from the email address on the order, we'll check with that address before we refund, so nobody can cancel your purchase without you knowing.
After the 14 days, purchases are final. That doesn't limit any right you have by law, such as a remedy when the courses aren't as described, or a refund of a duplicate or unauthorized charge.
The courses and assessment tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
This is educational content. For professional, legal, financial, or career decisions, talk to a licensed advisor in that field. We don't guarantee any particular result, such as passing a certification or exam, learning a specific skill, or getting a job, promotion, or raise. Technical content can age as tools change. Your results depend on your own effort, and you're responsible for how you apply what you learn, including on any production network.
If you're a consumer, the law where you live may give you rights we can't take away, such as the right to digital content that matches its description. This section doesn't limit those rights.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the courses, assessment tools, or these terms won't exceed what you paid for them. We won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, even if we were warned they were possible. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to access the courses and any assessment tools you subscribe to for your own learning. Please don't share your account, resell, redistribute, publicly post, or build a competing course from the material. The course and assessment content stays ours. If you break these rules, we can suspend or end your access without a refund, except where the law requires one.
If something's wrong with your purchase, email us first at support@routeswitchu.com, and we'll try to make it right. If your purchase qualifies for the relevant 14-day refund policy above, you can request that refund directly. If a charge is reversed through a payment dispute, your access ends the same way it does after a refund. We may contest a dispute we believe is wrong, using the purchase and acceptance records. For orders sold through Link, Stripe handles the dispute.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving Douglas County, Colorado. If you're a consumer who lives outside the United States, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of the country where you live that can't be waived by contract, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
We may update these terms for future purchases. The version shown when you buy governs your purchase.
