This course is still being written. 4 lessons are drafted so far. The outline below is what it covers. You cannot buy it yet, and nothing on this page opens it.

What you will be able to do

  • Sort out what TCO really counts, and what a vendor slide usually counts instead.
  • Cost out doing nothing first, so the comparison has two real sides.
  • Include your own costs and the work the customer will do.

Why choose this course?

  1. A model with two sides

Doing nothing has a cost, and the model says what it is. The comparison is between two real options, not against zero.

  2. Vendor math, counted straight

Services, migration, training, and the staff time your solution eats all appear in the total.

  3. A graded TCO model

You build it, and the lab checks the total against both sides of the comparison, not just the number you like better.

  1. FDE Business Track 2. Total Cost of Ownership4 lessons

The CFO believes the cost of the problem and now wants your number. There are eight buckets, and most of the one-time cost is the customer's own hours. A three column comparison gives doing nothing its real price. The capstone turns the one forecast you cannot source into a threshold anybody can judge.
