This course is still being written. 4 lessons are drafted so far. The outline below is what it covers. You cannot buy it yet, and nothing on this page opens it.

What you will be able to do

  • Sort benefits into the three tiers, and keep the unprovable ones out of the base case.
  • Build a base case you can source every line of.
  • Run the scenarios and test which inputs the answer turns on.

Why choose this course?

  1. A base case with sources

Every saving in it points at a document, an invoice, or a system the customer owns.

  2. Payback in months

The headline number is payback in months, because that is the number an operator actually feels.

  3. A graded ROI case

You build the base case, and the lab checks that every saving in it still points back to a source.

  1. FDE Business Track 3. The Return4 lessons

The CFO accepts what the problem costs and what the fix costs. Then he asks whose salary is going down. You cover three tiers of benefit, and the question that decides whether freed hours count for anything. The base case is built only on tiers one and two. A sensitivity scan then finds the whole case turning on one decision the CFO makes himself.

    • Three Tiers of Benefit
    • The Base Case Rule
    • Three Scenarios, and What They Found
    • A Case Carried by Tier One

This is the base case for a made-up credit union. Every benefit line behind it points at a document someone else wrote, and payback comes out at 23 months.
